audio clicking problem with P2 imports
Using a lap top and final cut log and transfer, and viewing 720p material in the log and capture preview all is fine. After final cut makes quicktimes, these new .mov files have a clicking sound throughout. Any thoughts? ANy way to control the parameters of these new .mov files? We also shot a bunch of material on 720pn and there is no problem with these files.

Check out the audio waveforms, do you see the clicks there? Have you turned off ch3 & 4 if you aren’t using them?

Thanks – i think we figured it out. When importing 720pn there’s no need to worry about the duplicate frames option, and so we’ve never ‘unchecked’ the box. I guess with 720p it does indeed matter – by unchecking the box the sync and clicking problems go away.
