audio channels flipped to 5-8 from 1-4
Hey guys,
Sorry for the quick question here without much explanation… Please indulge me.
I got the following e-mail from one of my editors. I haven’t got to look into it much except that I checked his control panel to make sure that audio channel mapping was correct (1 and 2 to 1 and 2). Has anyone one seen this? He has a K3 on an octo-core. 10.4.11 fcp 6.0.3. can’t remember which driver version right now… Here’s the e-mail:
“Having a situation where I’m capturing from digibeta. On the audio meters there is clearly audio on channels 1-4…however it captures across to channels 5-8”
So in FCP his captured QT gets 8 channels of audio with nothing on 1-4 and the audio intended for 1-4 on 5-8.

You need to set this in the lip settings tab of the log and capture window.
