I digitize a tape onto final cut pro and the sound is all messed up. It’s out of sync and very quiet. It’s not the deck, its not the firewire cable and its not the tape. I don’t know if its a setting or what. somebody please help. thank you.

What settings are on the media? What settings are you using in Final Cut? What computer are you using? What drives? How’s everything connected?

    All the best,

In your FCP manual is a diagram that shows how connect your deck, speakers and video monitor. The 1st thing you should check is to see that everything is connected properly.
