audio bug in FCP 4.5
Suddenly all these clips in my sequence are coming off muffled and only playing eft channel. When I resert pan to 0 the sound comes back to normal, but that means I have to manually change each individual clips. Does anybow know if this could be a simple corruption problem or if it is a FCP 4.5 bug? How can I fix this globally so I dont have to waste the time fixing each individual sequence? I have been exchanging xml files with another editor and I am wondering if somehow this constant exchange is contributing to the problem. Any pointer asap to: ks2037@columbia.edu. Many Thanks!

i;’d say it’s definitely a by-product of the XML interchange.
you can globally change all the clips if they are in a TIMELINE.
select all, and Control . (full stop)Control , = Pan Left
Control . = Pan Centre
Control / = Pan Rightthe same controls will work in the viewer,
and even though it;s a one-at-a-time situation,
it;s still quicker than re-setting the slider, or tabbing to the pan filed and typing in 0.cheers,
