audio and video out of synk
I moved my computer from one room to another and when I did this all fcp projects show the picture out of sync to the audio.
It doesn’t show on the timeline and when i make an export the sound is in sync, it’s just in the canvas and viewer where there is something wrong.
Another thing is that before I moved the computer the audio went through a mixer, but don’t anymore.
I’ve tried changing the audio outputs, I’ve tried putting fcp preferences in the trash, but it doesn’t help.Anyone experienced this or have any suggestions what to do???

Try changing “Frame Offset” (In System Settings . Playback Control).

What was feeding the mixer? Your mac’s audio out or were you monitoring through a fw connection to a tape deck?

The audio was going through the black magic deck… I will try and change that thing you suggested!

What would you suggest i’d put my frame offset on? It’s now on four! -
You need to adjust the value so there is no offset.
This is to avoid the audio delay in monitors and so.
