Audio and Video out of sync when burning to a DVD
I completed my project and burned it to a DVD and the audio and video are out of sync. I then tried to convert the .mov to an MPEG-4 and it wasn’t out of sync as much, but it’s still noticeable. The original footage was saved in Apple Proxy. Can anyone tell me the best way to burn to a DVD with the original .mov file? I am not getting any out of sync flags in the timeline. I loaded the movies to youtube (private file) and they look good, but I need a DVD to send to the organization that will use the video as part of their training course. I also loaded the videos on a hard drive and it was still somewhat out of sync but not nearly as bad as the DVD. I am relatively new at video editing so I appreciate any advice!!

Try exporting your sequence as a self contained QuickTime movie. Then open that file in DVD SP. Don’t encode it… file/export/QT movie.

Jerry – I did export to the QT self contained. How do I open it in DVD SP? Once I do that do I then burn it to the disk? New to this part of the process. Thanks!!
