    Audi Pull down in AVID

    Hi,
    I was given 24p footage from both the 5D and 7D. I was also given sound recorded at 29.97 fps. Is there a plug-in in MC5 that I can use to pull down the sound so it stays in sync with the picture?

    I suspect your Canon files are really 23.976? If so, there is no need to pulldown audio – it will play in sync since 48kHz is 48kHz. When importing the audio, and if BWF, you will be prompted for frame rate of file. Select 29.97.

    If your video files are truly 24.000 and you are in a 23.976 project, and they are being pulled down, then it is a different issue.

    Please confirm.
