    ATTO Thunderlink FC 1082

    I have a thunder link FC-1082 that I would like to connect an iMac into my SAN. I am only getting one link light on the right port of the thunder link.

    Xsan admin error reads “Check Fibre Channel Cables”

    I have tried switching cables, SFPs, and fiber switch ports. The problem stays with the right thunder link port and does not follow the cable, SFP, or switch.

    I have also reinstalled ATTO drivers and removed and added the computer back to the SAN.

    XSAN 3.1
    2 Volumes
    10.9.5
    4 8GB fiber switches

    I tried to contact ATTO but haven’t heard back.

    ATTO tech support is your very best bet. Keep calling, as they can be slow to respond to all but the sqeakiest of wheels.
