    Hi all

I have a Mac Pro 2010 desktop with a ATTO R680 installed and 2x SAS connected to a Netstor external raid 5
I’m going crazy trying to find a way of resetting password in ATTO configtool because i can’t remember it as it’s been a few years not using it.

Is there anyway of resetting password either through the BIOS or Mac OS?
I don’t care about the data so i don’t mind all to be reset to factory.

Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions.

Isn’t the config tool password an admin-level user account on the OS X host machine? It’s also in the Config Tool user manual.

    Petros is correct.
There is no ATTO password. The password is the password of YOUR machine.

To confirm that you know the password of your machine, simply click on System Preferences> Users, and open up Users & Groups. Click on the lock icon on the left. Open the lock (it will ask you for your password). If you can’t do this you are SCREWED.
