Anybody having an issue where a drive attached to an R680 is greyed out? You can access the media off the RAID, but the actual disk is not visible. I read that with 10.8.3 there’s an issue with Java updates screwing something up on the ATTO side. I’m reaching out to ATTO as well, but if someone has a solution for this that would be awesome.

    Thanks!

You said it was greyed out, not invisible
Did these terminal commands fix your problem?
Greyed out in disk utility usually means you have file directory errors
When is the last time you ran repair disk on this volume?

I checked the disk – it was all well. To be clear, it was greyed out if you looked at the heiarchy tree in finder from the client computers, but invisible on the server. All media was still accessible and mountable. For whatever reason it just went invisible on the server, but this fixed it.

Definitely keeping an eye on it though.
