Just heard from ATTO they they have a “tentative fix” planned for November to fix the 2GB limit with their Fibre Channel cards on the Mac Pro. Definitely disappointing. Apple doesn’t sell a 4gig Fibre Card so not sure what us 4gig Fibre Channel users are supposed to do at this point. I’m waiting to hear back from Ciprico with some suggestions.

Just wanted to let the ATTO users on this forum know what ATTO is saying right now.

Just to clarify, I’m talking about 2GB limit of RAM in a Mac Intel machine being the problem, not 4gig Fibre Channel.

Just heard from Ciprico, the only option right now is to pull 2GB of RAM out of my Mac Pro so that’s what we’ll do in the meantime until ATTO gets everything squared away on their end.
