ATTO 2 gig ram limit

Well, I can chime in and tell you that its awesome once you figure out the 2 gig RAM limit and DO NOT upgrade to OS 10.4.8 (it will make your system very unstable).

What video card are you getting with your system? I had the ATI X1900 installed. AWESOME card! Motion and Shake just flys with this card!

Let me give one word of warning. Use Carbon Copy to make a backup of your system drive before adding any updates for now until Apple can get a stable OS on the Mac Pro. I have two drives just for this! Let this be a tip… Two backup drives make troubleshooting much easier. I’m running off of my first back drive that has OS 10.4.7 installed with FCS upgraded to 5.1.2 and everything is stable!
