How do I attack tracker data to a Mask? this is something I always do in Shake, and can’t figure it out in AE. Haven’t found anything in the help files either

    thanks in advance!

HI, make an expression between the tracker attach point and the position property of the layer that the mask is on. Always mask on a solid layer not a footage layer.
    Good Luck

    Yep, with Da Script:

It was written for Roto, but will attach mask vertices to trackers for any purpose. It works as good as the track.

CharlieX, do you want to attach a tracker to a whole mask or to a mask vertex only?

Thanks guys, figured it out. I wanted to track the whole mask – I have a television set I’m putting footage into. I’ve started using solids with the mask layer and using those as my stencil….works more like I wanted it to.
