I’m trying to drive the position of a layer’s mask via a Point Control. Simply pick whipping obviously doesn’t work.

Anyone know how to achieve this? Could you also attach the size of a mask to a slider?

    Thanks!

Expressions don’t have much access to mask data. You can link two paths together and you can use valueAtTime() on a path, but that’s about it.

Scripts have access to everything, but of course they’re not live. You might want to check out TrackerViz at aescripts and see if that will do what you need.
