Does anyone know how to have an object (as pictured below) self generate? I’ve created an animation where I have 2 Cloner objects- a sphere in Object Mode set to vertex, and a cylinder in Object Mode set to edge. This allows me to scale and reveal them, everything works fine. But I’m looking for an effect that can occur more randomly – Maybe build from top to bottom- and have the cylinders be emitted from the spheres of each vertex, rather than scale up from their center point.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

You can use mograph to grow the pipes from the ends if you use an effector to do the scaling instead of the cloner itself. Effectors honor the cloned objects’ axis position.

    Example: 5177_atomtypearraygrowfromends.c4d.zip

    Hey Adam,

I’m after a similar animation to the one you kindly provided in your scene file.

I want to have more control over the indivial edges and have them grow one after the other (not all at once), what would be the best way to achieve this?

    Thanks.
