  Ati Radeon performance on Premiere Pro CS4

  I seem to be having an issue using HDV footage in premiere pro cs4 with ATI cards. Any time I run the video windows at full view the video lags as though the system cannot handle it.

  This occurred on my desktop system, which I changed from an ATI Radeon 3450 to a Geforce GTS 250 and now the playback is smooth as silk. Now I have received a laptop that has an ATI 5730 (middle to high end card) and the same lagging that occurred with the 3450 is present.

  Does anyone here use ATI in their build for Premiere Pro CS4, and if so, do you have similar problems to what I am facing? How do you deal with it?
