ATEM TV Studio can and should I record to the same computer I am using to control the switcher?

I read somewhere on this forum from Ankit Patel (Blackmagic Design’s Switcher Manager) that the application is lightweight and doesn’t use many resources as it just sends a signal to the switcher box and the box itself does all the work for you. With that said I believe you would easily be able to run the application and capture at the same time on the same machine.
