ATEM Television Studio: Picture-in-Picture Effect? / H.264 Recording Formats?
Hello,
currently we are using a software solution on a MacbookPro
for mixing two Video Signals for further encoding into H.264.
We are seeking for a more robust solution.The ATEM Television Studio seems to be the perfect solution for us,
but some details are still unclear:1.)
Is a simple Picture-In-Picture effect consisting of two live video signals possible
with this model?For our purposes we often need to switch between PIP (Camera1 inside Camera2)
and PIP (Camera2 inside Camera1); scaled, not cropped!2.)
We would produce in 1080i/25.
Is the in-build encoder capable in scaling, de-interlacing and encoding
into something like H.264 1280×720@15fps ?3.)
Is it possible to operate the ATEM Control Interface SW and MediaExpress concurrently on the same MacBookPro?4.)
If the connection to the ATEM Control Interface SW is disconnected suddenly; does the switcher
continue it’s operation with the last settings?Thanks and kind regards,
