Asus ROG GL552vw
I’m looking to do some video editing. I use macs but my mac is old, can I use a pc for editing? Looking to do HD, 2k or 4k. Would this laptop be OK. Would usb 3 Handel HD?
I’m mostly looking for a machine to use the tools and stay current at this point. Would the Asus ROG GL552vw be a good machine for Premiere cc2017? -

For HD possibly, but very questionable for 2K & 4K. I would really be looking for more VRAM (4GB) and at least Thunderbolt 2 (if not 3) for throughput to a RAID external drive. I’ve also been looking for a PC laptop that would handle 2K & 4K. Below is a link to B&H that has some of the choices that I’ve been viewing.
