    Hi.
Before I start I should mention that I’m pretty new to Cinema 4D so this could just be missing something extremely simple.

I’ve imported a shape from Illustrator as an Illustrator 8 file and applied the extrude NURB. Now I want to add a texture to it but only seem to be able to assign the texture to the shape’s edges and not its faces (see pic below). Can anyone shed some light on what I’m doing wrong?

I would first check what is the mapping that you have have set on your texture on your extrude nubrs. Click the square texture tag on the extrude nurbs and switch the projection to another one like cubic to see if it changes. It may be that it is on the front and back its just stretched and is only showing one color.

    Hope this helps
