I might understand your question wrong so forgive me if this is not the correct answer. I’m going to cover setting up a multichannel sequence and exporting a quicktime with splits.
If you are trying to assign channels for a multichannel sequence you need to do it when you create a new sequence. After you create a sequence you will not be able to assign it. It’s a very annoying thing that adobe needs to fix.
Here are two screen shots.

– So start a new sequence
– Click Tracks Tab
– Under audio section select Multichannel under “Master”
– Next to that is Number of Channels you will want to add more channels, but premiere assigns it in pairs so you might need to double your tracks and leave one empty so if you are doing 4 channels make 8.
– Assign the audio track output assignments
Now you then click the create sequence button. Drag your media in but do not change the sequence settings.
Now when you are ready to export get your video , I’m gonna use Quicktime settings, then click the audio tab. Now scroll down to the Audio Channel Configuration. By Defaul it will have only 1 stereo pair. Click the plus sign below it and it will add tracks. You can select mono or stereo and it will source it from tracks 3-3 or 3-4 depending on if you click mono or stereo.
Export and wallah.
Now if this didn’t help you at all, I’m sorry to waste your time. Good luck!
