  We are using both FCP7/Premiere and Avid MC6 and need an asset management system…

  My guess is it doesn’t work that way, however, I thought I’d ask…

  Anyone have an idea about sharing a gigabit switch for 2 separate machines using different editing software?

  I’ve looked at the App Store and there’s nothing of the sorts, of course. I’ve looked at EditShare Flow and it is more than pricy. I’ve even looked at using Bridge as a passive reader (not active management)

  All ideas are welcomed…
