Asset Alpha Channels
Hey all, new to Encore and hopefully this has a simple solution but its driving me nuts, and beginning to think its the program and not me. In a Blu-Ray project, every time I lay an asset with an alpha channel on top of a menu (drag it on top of the open menu), everything that should be alpha and thus transparent is black. Specifically, I’m exporting text with shading effects from After Effects (to turn into a button), to a .psd, with alpha included. And with every single variation of things I”ve tried, Encore never reads the alpha. I’ve opened it in Photoshop to make sure that indeed, the alpha is there and it is transparent in Photoshop… any hints on some stupid thing I might be missing. Could this be a bug? Is there any way to change alpha settings within encore on an asset? The lack of options to play with in there feels incredibly stifling after the freedom of AE…
