    Assertion Failed

    Hello,
    I’m running Avid Media Composer 2.6 (software only) with Mojo on a dual core G5 Mac. I’ve recently attached a G-Raid2 500gb firewire drive via a FW800 cable. I can play media in the timeline that is on this drive, but when I try to play backwards with the J key I get the following error.

    Assertion failed: to > from
    file: /snapshots/releng.relengmac22_1159147708/vobs/
    coresw/core/Projects/Mac/../../lists/RangArray.c, Line: 86

    I can play backwards just fine on media located on other firewire drives, just not with media on the new G-Raid2 drive.
    Any ideas?

    Hi i am getting this same error with media composer 3.5 what did u do to resolve this issue
