  aspect ratio problems

  I burned a dvd with SD DVD Studio Pro 4: Display 16:9 letterbox
  Simulator> Resolution SD Display Mode-16:9

  When I watch it on my laptop it looks great. When I watch it on my flat screen t.v monitor and put the aspect ratio settings to 16:9 it looks stretched. When I put it to zoom it looks way better but has a thin black line at the bottom of the screen.

  Any help is greatly appreciated.
