ASAP HELP sony vegas 9 keeps frezzing when render or Preview
My sony vegas 9 Keeps frezzing or closing when i render or preview it either just stops responding or comes up with a message saying Exeption has been made,and then closes HELP THIS MOVIE IS DUE IN 2 WEEKS!?

What format is your source footage? Where did it come from? What codec does it use? Unsupported source formats are usually the reason for this.

Hi Thanks i am usesing Three Difrent formats, AVCHD from a hard drive video camrea, An Mpeg standard def hard drive camrea and there is one clip in there for WMV,the timeline goes for 40 mins?

The formats are Hd AVCHD for a sony Hd hard drive camrea And a SD Mpeg from another sony HDD camrea and one Clip is WMV the time line is 40 Mins long

How powerful is your computer? Is it at least a 2.4GB+ Dual Core or Quad Core with 2GB or more of memory to handle the AVCHD media? Also editing WMV is the source of a lot of render issues. You might want to try rendering with just each format separately (in a new project) and see if you can reproduce the problem. This may narrow it down to which media is causing the problem.

It has 3 Gig Of ram it has a brand new 3Ghz Processor AMD, It runs window Vista 32-bit but the graphics card i am not sure it is the basic of all basics Sd Nivida one Could that be the Problem

If you suspect the graphics card then turn off hardware acceleration and see if the problem goes away. If it does, update your graphics drivers and try again.
If you PC is only a single core AMD then it is not nearly powerful enough to handle AVCHD. AVCHD requires at least a DualCore although I would recommend nothing smaller than a QuadCore.
