artifact not on camera, just in FCPro
I know i know, it seems to be a problem coming back.
so i shoot on a P2 at 480i/60i, about an hour of footage.
In the display of the camera, all is good.
In the the Pre-viewer of the log and transfert window all is fine …but when the footage is import, start some artifacts. Suttle ,but i like things to be perfect.

https://flock.comso I don think it s a field problem, i plaid a bit and don t seem to change any thing.
i plaid with the pooldown, with the frame rate of the sequence.
but it s just a basic ntsc footage.
MAybe it s obvious. Thanks to help me.

From what display is your “After” frame grab taken? It appears to be the Canvas of FCP. The Canvas cannot properly display interlaced (60i) video. You must view it on a regular TV or NTSC monitor to properly judge the quality.

That’s just the viewer proxy. Viewing on the desktop is not your final image quality. For that you need something like an AJA Kona or just trust it will look right.
