  Are there Character Design & 3D Animation Minors??

  Hi everybody,

  I’m currently studying ‘Communication & Multimedia Design’ in the Netherlands.
  I’m a very good drawer and at this moment I’m following an internship at a video/animation company.
  So I’m trying to improve my ‘After Effects’ skills.
  My ‘Illustrator’ skills are pretty good so this would not be a problem, I really have to improve my animation skills.

  My absolute dream-job would be working for a mayor animation studio, like Disney or Pixar.
  I have no illusions and I would probably never achieve this level of skills, but never keep dreaming! 😉

  This is the first half of the 3th schoolyear.
  After my internship we are allowed to choose two minors and it can be at another school (duration: 4 to 6 months, don’t know the specifics yet).
  So here is where my question begins:

  • Is there a ‘Character Design’-minor in the Netherlands or in Belgium?
  • Is there a ‘3D Animation’-minor in the Netherlands or in Belgium?

  (I prefer MAYA, but maybe there is also a minor working with another 3D-program)

  I hope someone can help me or someone has a list of (creative) minors?
