Are there are *HDV* footage stabilizing plugins anywhere?

What stabilizer plug in is only for DV?

As far as I know Steady Move could care less what you launch it on…it just handles pixels. The same would go for AE’s motion stabilizer.

I have used the steadymove 2d3 (bundled w/premiere) with 720 p footage and it worked quite well. I was working in a DV rez project with the HDV imported into it.

As I believe I mentioned…none of the effects in your effects directory are “DV only”…so why would a stabilizer be? Just as the Color Corrector will work on any project you have in Premiere DV, SD, HD, HDV…320×240 custom frame size…whatever, so will any other effect you have installed…like Steady Move.

Haul out your PPro install disk, the Steady Move plugin is on it. You’ll have an option to install various things including the application…and the Steady Move plug in.

Hope you found it, I think it’s on the little installer when you autostart the disc. Or just look for a folder 2d3 or steadymove on your install CD.

TimK – maybe he is just assuming it’s a trial that’s limited. I am pretty sure that the there are some free plugins (the cycore I think, with Mr. Mercury and particle playground) that come with AE that are limited to DV rez.

I guess I’ll buy that… But as far as I know, Steady Move isn’t limited in this way.
