  Are there any XLR adapters that will work with my Canon Vixia G20?

  Hi Everyone!

  I just recently purchased a Canon Vixia HF G20. I was aware that it did not have XLR outputs, but I was able to buy an adapter for my old camcorder and that worked out fine.

  I don’t think my old Beachtek DXA-4P will work on this camcorder and I tried just a basic XLR adapter/mini connector but when I plugged in my lavalier, I didn’t hear anything. I ended up using a condenscer lavilier which sounded horrible.

  My questions are, is there an XLR audio adapter that works with the Canon Vixia G20? And if so, can someone point me in the right direction?
