Are there any templates for this ‘magic dust’ look?
I know that Trapcode Particular would be best for this, but how can I achieve this level of detail and realism? Or maybe there are readily available templates for particular I can purchase? Thanks.

My guess is that that’s a 3D particle system, something like Particle Flow in 3DS Max. There are probably presets for Particular that might do close to that job, but it’s a tall order for Particular.
