Are the following possible in PI SE?

    1) Copy a motion path to another emitter

I have created a complex motion path using “Record Position” and I want another emitter from the library to follow the same path. Is this possible?

    2) Copy particle types between emitters

I’d like to combine two emitters into a single emitter so I can use them as a single preset.

Are these possible? if not, how can I get two emitters to follow the same path?

    Thanks
    Richard

You can’t do either of these with SE. You need 3.0 for that.

In 3.0 you can “export position data” to the clipboard for the one emitter, then “import position data” from the clipboard for the 2nd emitter.

Or, you can just copy and paste the emitter (so there are 2 copies), then use the “replace” function to replace the second emitter with one from the library.

In 3.0 you can also open the emitter properties dialog for the library and drag a particle type from one emitter to another.

    Alan.
