Are ProRes422 and ProResLT considered different codecs by plural eyes for the purposes of creating multiclips?
I’ve been using a very helpful workflow with interviews shot continuously on A cam and intermittently over time on B cam which are synced and made in to multiclips sing plural eyes 3 which has been working beautifully.
The footage has previously all been ProResLT however, one batch is footage I did not transcode myself and which is ProRes422. After creating a sync sequence of this material, I notice that plural eyes has the ‘create multiclip’ option greyed out. I heard while researching this workflow before I started that footage sources in different codecs can cause this to happen. I guess that’s what’s going on now, but then, isn’t ProRes422 and ProRes422LT kind of the same thing, just different bitrates? Is that why I can’t make my multiclip for this interview?
