  Archive drive Un-mounting

  I have a small 1T SimpleTech Duo Pro eSATA/USB2.0 array drive that I use for archiving footage from a Media100 HDe suite. I keeps unmounting to the point I cannot transfer the files to my online array. Any suggestions? If I attempt to drag the files or access them in any way, I get the error that reads… “The device was improperly disconnected. The files on the device may be damaged…”

  Any suggestions? I have run disc warrior on it several times and it usually fixes some file structure every time but I end up with the same result.

  I have put the drive on another Mac in our studio and I can transfer some files but it gives me a permissions error. Plus, I have to use USB 2.0 which agonizingly slow.
