    Hi,

I have to keep a 50 gig project around for a while (years). I was wondering what some creative cows think about my various options. Would you just keep it on a hard drive or two, archive to several tapes, or what?
I wanna pitch an idea that will work for many projects, not just this one. I’m willing to listen to any ideas.

    Thanks

    Sean

I would buy two 80 GB, external, firewire hard drives. Copy everything to one hard drive and then again to the other. Then, keep them both…keep one of them in a different building than the other.

It’s the easiest, cheapest, safest way that I can think of.
