  • Architectural drawing effect?

    Hi

Does anyone have an approach for this-?

The director has footage of a city skyscraper in situ, there is minimal camera movement. The idea is to change the building from glass and steel to a a kind of hand-drawn/architectural/blueprint look.

    Any ideas gratefully received.

possibly you can use 3d stroke. It would allow you to create outlines in 3d space

is the building an image or a 3d model?
if it’s a 2d image, u’ll probably need to use the edge filter in photoshop to kind of create the lines…if it’s 3d model, there should be some kind of toon/lines plugin (illustrate in 3dmax) to make the blueprint lines of the building.

then u can bring into aftereffects to merge it with your real building image.
