    I am trying to make a scene selection menu and I put Markers in Vegas and it carried over fine…
    However,
    I want to use some of the markers in the scene selection and some of the markers just so you can hit “Next” and go to the next scene.

    Is there a proper way of doing this rather than what I did because I have an extra marker that is for the Next, that I want to delete and when I do it’s messing up everything.

    The way I did it was;
    Under Play All- Right click
    Insert Scene Selection Menu
    Then I deleted the markers I just wanted as next under the link menu

    Is this wrong?
    Is there a difference between Marker selection: Scene/Chapter vs. Chapter vs Buttons on video?

    Thanks in advance.

    I was under the impression that “Regions” (R key) had to be used for that and not markers.

    That’s probably the easiest way. You could also save the markers to a file in DVD Architect and then delete the markers that you don’t want to be scenes. Then build your scene selection menu and after that, reload the marker file that you saved to bring “all” of the markers back in.

    The Load and Save Markers button is just above the timeline when you navigate into the movie. Like this:
