  Applying EQ’s and Filters to music

  Hey guys,

  I’ve been working on FCP for the past few years and I seemed to have lost my Avid Sound EQ and Filtering skills.

  What I like doing is taking music and crushing the sound with a little reverb and “bass only” EQ. That way I can play seemingly loud music under dialogue scenes and still hear the frequencies of the dialogue.

  Can anyone discribe a simple way of crushing the sound of music?

  Any help would be appreciated!
