  • Applying an effect to a mask messes up the layers position??

The layers in this screen grab should be perfectly aligned, but when I add the Tritone to a mask it screws up the position. As if the effect turns on some cropping of the layer and offsets the transform stuff. It didn’t do this when I set up the project… this is somehow new. Purged the cache, nothing changed.

does it do it with CC glass turned off? if that fixes it, maybe the glass effect is still referencing the mask somehow… if that doesn’t fix it (and yer I know that’s not a fix anyway) use a matted adj layer maybe?
