  • Applying a transition to multiple tracks?

    Hi Guys,

I have a clip on my timeline of a presenter speaking on a white background. Directly underneath that on another track I have a colour solid that im using to cover up some rough edges on the presenter clip using cropping.

I have a separate intro clip that im trying to cross dissolve into the above clips but when I try and apply it it will only let me apply it to the presenter clip and its sound track, not the colour solid.

Is there a way I can highlight the presenter and solid clip and apply the exact same cross dissolve?

Im using FCE4 so I can nest the clips which I think might be a useful technique of doing this.

Sorry if this is a really easy problem to solve, Im new to all of this.

    Many thanks in advance.

Nesting should work. Try it and see.
