Apply Transition Propreties to all
Posted by Marc-alexandre Parent on March 21, 2019 at 3:27 pmHi, I’m relatively new to using Vegas PRO (15) and I have a bit of an issue…
Basically, I want to make this fast slideshow of pictures with transitions in between them. While I can apply transitions to all of them, I can’t make them faster for all of them at once. I have to resize the fade of all of them one by one… Is there any way I can “paste” transitions with special propreties?
Thank you!Graham Bernard replied 7 years, 1 month ago 5 Members · 6 Replies -

I’m not aware of a method to do that within Vegas Pro 15, although perhaps other members here have a method. You may be able to get that capability using something like Vegasaur add-on.
Best Regards……George

March 21, 2019 at 7:02 pmThere may be a way to do what you want. There is a small arrow at the bottom left of the clip called the snap offset. You can drag it to the right then when moving the clip the snap point will be where ever you drag the arrow. If there is perhaps a setting that can be adjust to have the snap offset start further in. I think there is a command that eliminates gaps between clips, I forget how you do it but I know that at least exists. Perhaps it would much everything to the snap offset points and in that would do it.
Another way that doesn’t really achieve the goal is to highlight all the clips with the select tool, then you can at least adjust the fade in and out on all of them at once. They would still have transition effects but it would fade to black for a second before coming back.

March 21, 2019 at 7:35 pmFound this in the manual
Select the Automatically overlap multiple selected media when added check box on the Editing tab of the Preferences dialog if you want to overlap events when you add them to the same track. Automatic Crossfades must be turned on to use this feature. For more information, see Preferences – Editing Tab and Automatic crossfades
I wonder if there is a good way for this to work

Yes, up to a point. I can’t see how to access my full range of Transitions in SM. To access all the Transitions I’ve played with another VASST product PhotoMontage within UliSPro. Here I can ADD my own Transitions and CREATE Lists and add any I’ve created.
