A curious thought I had as I order my AppleTV on Amazon… if Apple can stream your iTunes videos through the AppleTV to an HDMI television, why can’t it stream the output of FCP X to an HDMI TV? I realize it’s currently 720p but with rumors of an update coming, and rumors of FCP X coming…. seems like a good fit for the prosumer, plus true HDMI monitoring like the Matrox mini, but for $400 less. And it does Netflix and stuff. Sounds Apple. Perhaps the rumored AppleTV TV set will simply link up to your computer seamlessly and integrate with FCPX. So basically you’d have your Laptop, and an Apple TV set and you’re editing away with no wires.

Yes it’s works like that. Some games on the iPad are being developt for this feature. It will only be a matter of time before they make it work for laptops.

    I wear many hats.
