Apple Support Couldn’t help..files won’t open
Hey guys,
I just called apple support and they don’t know what’s wrong. So I was wondering if you guys would happen to know..
The past month’s of .mov files won’t open up anymore in final cut, quicktime, after effects, or mpeg streamclip.
When I render/export them out originally I can watch them fine, but the next day the error pops up when I try to import it or open it up
in quicktime : the movie could not be opened. the file is not a movie file.
in after effects “After Effects Error: file ‘.mov’ cannot be imported –files of type “MooV” are not supported. ”
final cut pro: file error: Unknown file. The weird part about it, is that I can watch them fine right after I make them originally…
any ideas? even ideas of who to talk to would be great.. Should I try clearing off my computer hard drive and re-install everything?
Paul
