August 12, 2006 at 12:44 amI don’t know what Apple is thinking. Award winning forums because people are helping out people. Those forums save Apple SO MUCH MONEY in calls that aren’t made to their tech support people…that I cannot see how they will save money by letting 5 mods go and keep only one for the ENTIRE discussions. Now people can post any old crap and it stays up for a while. Big rumor that Apple might even shut them down.
Sad really.

if they let all the moderators go, no sense in keeping the forums alive. I guess their tech support folks better be ready for an onslaught of calls, especially from newbies.

I hope not. I can only imagine the onslaught of noise should many of them find their way here to the Cow.
Apple is once again, Penny Wise and Pound Foolish.
