Apple Remote Desktop
Hi, I’m trying to link between my boss’ Mac OS X and mine to share FCP files. She is in Miami and I frequently have to fly there to edit. We are looking at Apple Remote Desktop 3 to solve the issue of being in different cities (and to cut down on the cost of flights), and I was wondering if the file uploading from one comp to another is really long or not. I wish the My Book World would cover Macs through the Mionet software, but it doesn’t. Is the Remote Desktop going to allow me to transfer movie files? I guess if this doesn’t work, I will just wait for FCP Server to make its debut. But it would be nice to have options in the meantime. I’ve also read about Timbuktu Pro. Help?!? Thanks.
