  Apple RAW NTSC into 1080p Dnx 175 timeline

  I have some footage from a transfer from tape that I’ll be cutting in its own project at 29.97, it’s obviously 4:3. I was thinking of potentially reframing the shots in After effects and exporting animations, but I don’t know anything about pulldowns at all. This is archival footage and photos so creatively I’d actually like the freedom to do this. If however I choose to stick with its native dimenions, then open the sequence from within my 23.976 project at 1920x1080p, am I going to face any major challenges? I AMA’d the large file and took my selects then transcoded them to Pro Res HQ. There’s maybe 10 minutes of footage there at best.

  Let me know about any workflow thoughts
