    I cannot figure it out.

I recorded a call on Skype using call recorder. I would like to edit this is FCP 6.0.6. I converted in MPEG Streamclip to Apple ProRes. When I import into FCP the audio drifts after about 5 minutes.

I have double checked Audio/Video settings, frame rates, audio rates.

I’ve posted the screenshots below from my export settings and my sequence settings.

I’m running FCP 6.0.6 on OSX 10.10.2 so my Apple Compressor no longer works therefore I’m converting in Mpeg Stream Clip.

I have tried editing the XML from this tutorial post. – https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/8/1147400

The only thing I can spot is that you have created an interlaced 29.97 but have chosen a 30p sequence. Firstly the Skype vid should have been progressive. Is the frame rate on that 29.97 or 30? Either way the video and sequence should match exactly. I see nothing about the sound as 16 bit PCM, 48khz is correct but I suspect there is a .1% drift with picture not matching sequence but FCP may be trying to play the audio at a different rate.
