Apple Pro Res 422 in After Effects or Premiere?

I just read somewhere that you can only get Apple Pro Res 422 if you have Final Cut pro ..

I don’t currently have FCP it if there another format I can render thats will meet the specs of the client?

Are you on a Mac? If so, I believe installing the free trial of FCPX should give you the codec.

Free to download of apples website, hopefully have Apple ProRes 422 on it tho.
