Apple Motion 4 HUD has disappeared.
I have been learning apple motion 4, and everything was really starting to gel for me. Then the HUD disappeared. Neither F7 or clicking the icon works. F7 does change the HUD status in the VIEW drop-down menu ( as in “show” or “hide” the hud.) But I can’t see the hud itself. Tried the different screen layouts, and also moved the screen elements around to make sure the HUD was not hiding behind one of them.
I am running Mac OSX ver. 10.6.8
Processor 2×2.4 Ghz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I had a really cool project going for a second there…

Close Motion, trash the prefs, restart Motion. That will almost certainly fix it.
Best way to trash the prefs is using Digital Rebellion’s excellent freeware Preference Manager.
