Apple Magnification Effect with 3D LAYERS
Hello Everyone, i know a lot of people asked about this already, but im trying to achieve this effect in a 3D environment in AE. Like a carroussel of Elements rotating in 3D, and when the get close to another 3D layer they magnify (Scale up).
I found a way to do this in 2D in several posts here, but not with 3D layers.
Can anyone help?

I’m not quite sure I understand what you’re trying to achieve. I know I did a project just a little while ago where I used a 3d layer with the magnification effect on it. And in order to get it in the shape of another layer, I precomped that layer (with the 3d layer inside it), collapsed transformations and used it as a track matte for the adjustment layer with the magnify effect.
I don’t know if that helps you though because I’m not quite sure what you’re trying to achieve.

Kind of. But nothing to do with shapes.

https://youtu.be/xDuKoaLpXOY?list=PL0F5968389930868BBUT it have to work on 3D space, so when the layer gets closer to the other it Scales UP ( like Magnification effect). It doesnt matter from which direction it’s coming from, X, Y or Z.
